It is made of full steel and wood furniture (handguard & stock) and features an enlarged full moving bolt inside the AK receiver. You are certain to feel the recoil and kickback that have made players and collectors alike all fall in love with. With its 40 round BB capacity inside a full steel made magazine, the overall feel of the AKM will definitely bring a satisfying feeling of purchase. Best point of all, to those with an eye for detail, yes while it is not 100% true to the real steel AKM, GHK has put a lot of attention into their details, both aesthetic and practical to satisfy you. The GHK AKM features a realistic steel finish, functional bolt safety system, adjustable hopup, wood furniture as mentioned earlier and laser serial engraving. To top it off, the magazine itself is also made out of black anodized steel to ensure your magazine lasts. Should you somehow still feel unsatisfied, you can always attach a GP-30 underslung grenade launcher. The only bone we have to pick with the GHK AKM is that it does not come with the AK mount base for scope mounts.
GHK has made a good name for itself with their previous products but this new rifle appears to be the crowning jewel of the crown. While we have not made a detailed review of the GHK AKM, already is has made the dreams and wishes of many players come true: a full metal gas blow back AK!

Despite its plastic body & foldable stock, it is sturdy and the use of metal parts such as sights, endcap and bolt makes adds to the handling experience.
